Goodbye Athens, Hello Samos

Thank It's difficult to say goodbye to the beautiful city of Athens. We have seen and experienced so much. Our lives have been changed forever because of the experience.

But before we left, there was time for one more adventure. The group broke up into two smaller groups this morning. One group went to the Tomb of Philopappos with its incredible views of the city and the other group went to the Temple of Zeus and Hadrain's Arch. Both groups had time to walk through the Plake and eat a good Greek lunch before heading back to the hotel and our bus (driven valiantly by Demetrius throughout our time in Athens) to the airport to make our short flight to Samos.

Samos, a gem in the Aegean. This island is home to Pythagoras and holds many mysteries. Our hotel overlooks the sea from its perch on the side of the mountain. Once at our hotel, serveral of the students took advantage of the salt water pool, others napped or relaxed in their rooms. We are excited about our dinner tonight at a local resort. We are thankful for Eleni, who made this trip with us. We are looking forward to an incredible adventure tomorrow.

Thank you for your prayers.

Today, we were present.
