We had a great afternoon walk to Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. However, the fountain is under restoration. We could still see it through the protection fencing.
Then we went to dinner at a local pizzeria just down the road from our magnificent hotel. If you have not looked at the hotel website, then go to http://www.romehotelnord.it/en. Welcome to Rome!
Tomorrow we head to Vatican City, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica. We then have the afternoon off to do some exploring.
